Ringing in the New Year

We had a very nice New Year's Eve, hosting friends from the church we attend. Scott and Kay were here, as well as Tom and Linda, with their 3 boys. The boys are 16, 12 and almost-8. It was fun trying to keep all of us entertained. We played Catch Phrase, Buzz Word and Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? Most of us weren't. We saw the ball drop on Eastern time, and then again on Central time - midnight, our time. Our friends left shortly after midnight and we were in bed about 1:30 am - the latest we've stayed up in ages! Of course I slept in the next morning, but Jack was up with the birds. We had a restful day, and went to see Sweeney Todd at the Imax Theater. I loved it, Jack slept through a good deal of it. Gotta love Johnny Depp!! A very Happy New Year to all our friends and loved ones!
