Fireside Theatre

We had a great time last weekend close to home. On Friday we went to the Fireside Theater to see Cole Porter's Anything Goes. It was great! Our friends Rick and Linda went with us - and all 4 of us are leaving on a cruise soon, so it was especially fun watching this wacky show on a cruise ship. Fireside Theater is in Ft. Atkinson - it was our 2nd time to visit there and the food and the show are always terrific. Saturday we went downtown to Madison and shopped at Trader Joe's for the first time. I've lived here nearly a year and just found out that Madison HAS at Trader Joes. (there's so much we haven't seen yet). Then we went to the Hilldale Mall and had lunch at Flat-top Grill, a stir-fry place that's a lot like Mongolian Grille. This Saturday, yesterday, we went back and had lunch there again. Yum yum. The university had a fundraiser - their annual Crazy Legs race - for the athletic dept. We were going to walk in it, but since it wasn't even 50 degrees out by 10 am- we decided to go to the health club instead.
