It sure seems impossible that our baby girl is 28 today! Yikes, I barely look older than that myself. (ha ha- okay, stop laughing!) These are the beautiful flowers that Alex sent her at work today - isn't he a great husband?! Last night I was thinking of the day she was born. She didn't make her grand entrance till 4:07 that afternoon, and then we had a few guests come up to the hospital to see us. I was beat by 9 pm, and Jack went home, and I went to sleep. He was supposed to be back the next morning by 10 so we could attend the "baby & bath class" at 12:00, I woke up and couldn't believe I'd slept so long - and that Jack wasn't there! I was kind of irritated with him. So I called him. He sounded sleepy, but I said "Where ARE you?!" He said he was asleep. I said that we'd missed the class and I couldn't believe he slept away the morning too. Turns out, it was midnight on the 9th, not noon the next day. And even funnier, I'd woken my roommate and she called her husband to see where he was, cause she was supposed to be going home at noon with their baby. so she and I laid awake talking, until the babies were brought in for the 2am feeding. How funny!!
