Do You Remember?

How could we not remember 9-11, the day that changed the world forever? I had just started my new position at Bethel College - in the Theatre Department. Deb Barker was training me to take over for her, and we started at 8 am. Forty six minutes later, the first plane flew into the North Tower of the Trade Center, and 17 minutes later, another crashed into the South Tower. Everyone at the college went to the Chapel for a prayer service. Jack was in Bloomington, working as a District Manager for Jimmy John's. I went home, and Melissa came over so we could watch the events on TV together. It was so unreal to see all of this unfolding on TV - and to see the devastation. Seven years later I can't fathom anyone who thinks the US should not be active in the annihilation of terrorism. Let's remember 9-11 on election day.
