Jack and Ken

Sunday the 24th of Febuary:

Judy and I were thrilled to visit our former Church, Gospel Center, in South Bend, Indiana. Pictured to the left is one of my best friends and my prayer partner for over seven years. Ken and I went on a Promise Keepers rally in Indianapolis, Indiana and from that trip formed a friendship that lead to being prayer partners. We met every week, sometimes on Wednesday night after mid week prayer service and others times we would meet on a different night. We were there for each other during very difficult times of our lives. There were times when Ken or I was there just to listen. There was not much we could say to each other to make the moment better, however we always prayed for each other and our families. We found peace so many times during these times of prayer. I once thought we should have kept a prayer log, there was so many times God came through for us, what a blessing that would have been to share those times with others years later. What I appreciate most of Ken, is his faithfulness in Christ. It was the best example God could bring in my life, it really helped me grow in my knowledge, grace and relationship with Christ. I also got to see his daughter Kendra, and her husband Kevin and Ken's two beautiful granddaughters. Ken told me they moved to the South Bend area, therefore he is able to see them all more often then when they lived up in Michigan.
