Saturday at Wisconsin Dells

So we decided to spend Saturday night in the Dells when we found out Luke, who owns the condo upstairs, was having his big annual St. Patrick's Day party. We spent a lot of time just driving around and seeing the sights. We stayed at our favorite chain of hotels - Comfort Inn - and they gave us tickets to the Wisconsin Comedy Club. We decided to go to the 7:00 show for the "family show" - in lieu of the "adult show" at 9:00. As it turned out, they don't have a family friendly show on Saturday nights, so we opted for the movies instead. You all know what major movie buffs we are! So we went to the Desert Star Cinema and saw The Bank Job - a great movie.

We had a great dinner at Paul Bunyan's Lumberjack restaurant. We enjoyed the family style meal, but we DIDN'T eat like lumberjacks. Still, the food was yummy and we enjoyed it. Here's Jack with Paul Bunyan - kinda makes you feel small, doesn't he?

Judy bagged a bear and a fish at Paul Bunyan's. Yes, all the fish in Wisconsin have a big yellow W on them. Pretty cool huh? Oh - and Jack bagged a Badger. He loves his hats.

Who doesn't love a Trojan Horse? All these neat rides at Wisconsin Dells, and our idea of activity is more along the lines of the movies and the comedy clubs! Oh well, part of getting old I guess! There's always Moosejaw Pizza too - if you like seeing the backend of a moose as the delivery car passes you. :)
