Mother's Day Weekend

We went back to Indiana for the weekend so we could visit Mom for Mother's Day. I got her a new shirt - for some reason her entire wardrobe seems to consist of gray clothes and I wanted her to have some color. There's little ladybugs on her shirt and the writing says 'my grandchildren hold a special place in my heart.' We were together on Saturday - and on Sunday she went over to Laurie's house for the annual "ladies lunch" but it was too cold to wear the shirt, she so resorted to the much-worn gray sweatshirt. Oh well, I tried. I had to skip the lunch and we drove home on a very rainy Sunday afternoon. But we had a good time in South Bend, had fish at Roc's with Amy and Jeff. Then we went to see Iron Man at the movies with Kathy & Dave and Wade & Kelli. Afterwards we went to TGIF and stayed till nearly midnight! We had a great time visiting with them.
