My niece Amy came to visit us this weekend! It was so nice to have family here. We went down to Capital Square Saturday morning and walked around the Farmer's Market. Then we had lunch at Red Robin - Amy's first visit to one, and very timely, cause one is coming to South Bend soon. PLUS - Saturday was Jack's birthday. Knowing how they love to sing loud and embarrass you at Red Robin, I told the waitress that it was Jack's birthday, and later learned that while Amy & I were in the bathroom, he'd told her it was my birthday. Since the poor girl didn't know who to believe, she had the group sing Happy Birthday to the Holdermans, and brought us both a free ice cream sundae!
After lunch, we killed time on the west side for about 2 hours, visiting West Towne mall, and waiting till the 4:30 show at the IMax Cinema where we saw Eagle Eye. Amy had never been to an IMax, and this was a great action movie to see on the huge screen. Afterwards, we went home and played Wii games and Wii Fit until bedtime.
Sunday, Amy and I went out to breakfast at The Pancake Cafe, while Jack went to church. Then we came home and let Amy play Ratatouille on Wii until time for lunch at Chicago Uno Pizza. Then it was time for her to head home, way too soon. We had a great weekend and can't wait for her to come back.

Happy Birthday Holdermans! I can't believe I found you! Been praying for the Armentrout's and got to thinking about the GC group. Lord, I miss those times!
