Mexican Riviera - April 11-18

We had an AMAZING time on our 5th cruise. We went back to the Mexican Riviera (Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerta Vallarta) again, and took Melissa and Alex with us this year. It was soo much fun to have them along. Of course, we didn't do excursions with them, they are way more adventurous than these old folks. But we had a great time on our own, and then really enjoyed the things we did join them for. If you are a Facebook friend, you've seen most or all of these photos I'm guessing. Oh - and our camera wasn't set up for the right date - I tried to fix a few in photoshop but it was just too much work. So most of the pix say 2009, but they were all 2010 - how aggravating!

Melissa & Alex - on their very first cruise. Since their 4th wedding anniversary was April 30th, it was a great way for them to celebrate!

The first night, we went to a Mystery Dinner Theatre - a little hokey, but we had fun and dinner was great - especially the Tiramisu dessert. We had complimentary champagne before the play began - how nice!

It as a good excuse to dress up. Alex ended up winning a gift basket for guessing who the killer was - pretty cool.

TThinking maybe we'd all have a lucky evening, we decided to try our hand at the slots - just $20. But after I played just $2, I won $95...

So... we headed to the roulette wheel for some "real" gambling and we had fun playing as I taught Melissa all about playing roulette. How bad are we?

Monday was a quiet day at sea - it was nice just relaxing. We watched an afternoon Ice Capades-like show. We went to the early performance, so that we could see the Headliner show in the evening, and then we were all so tired, none of us went to it anyway. I got a lot of good shots of this show, but who doesn't like men in tights?

We love our towel animals!
