This past weekend was our first annual Corn Festival in Sun Prairie. We skipped it last year due to tons of rain and we didn't want to wade all the mud. Think County Fair -only instead of animals - just corn! But it's the best sweet corn you will ever eat. We didn't waste time buying it by the ear - no, we bought a "tote" and each gobbled down 3 ears. Then we bought some uncooked, brought it home where Jack spent many hours blanching it, and freezing it. He worked hard! Sunday after church we went to a performance at the University of "Thoroughly Modern Millie." It was thoroughly enjoyable!
