While I was in Indiana last month, Samantha turned 18 - wow! I was so glad to be in town to join everyone at her birthday dinner. We went to Hana Yori's - Sam's choice of course - and everything was wonderful. Our Japanese chef even made her a cake - of raw onion, stacked up, with smoke coming out of it. The photo to the left is Donnie, Debbie, Sam, Amy and Jeff. In the picture below, I'm standing while Jeff took our picture, and of course the bottom one has the yummy onion-cake. Sam didn't want to eat it - hmmm - not sure why she wouldn't.
